About the Department

The department of computer science and engineering has been established in the year of 2004 offering Under Graduate program with the intake of 60 students and later it has been upgraded to 120 students and offers Post Graduate program also. This department has a set of dedicated, talented, well qualified and an experienced team as teaching faculty.

Innovative research activities are going on in various fields like Artificial Intelligence ,Machine learning, Metaverse and Network engineering . In addition to the academic excellence, our students have also exhibited their talents by participating in extracurricular activities in intra college tournaments and Anna University Zonal tournaments.

Every year, our department is organizing Open House (mini–Project Exhibition). During each semester, we conduct VALUE ADDED COURSE for the students so as to widen and update their knowledge in various fields.

College Associations are essential in helping students discover their potential. All students are invited to join and participate actively in the college's many associations. Students can get greater self-awareness. Acquiring membership in a student organisation offers ample chances to discover more about oneself, their objectives, and their assets. Students can test their existing knowledge and gain insight from how other students handle particular scenarios.

The Association of Computer Science and Engineering ASTUTE (ASSOCIATION OF STUDENTS URGE TO BE A TACTFUL ENGINEER) was inaugurated in the year 2006.Association conducts many events like seminars, workshops, Postal Presentation, Debugging in C, Python, JAVA, Technical Quiz, Group Discussion, Paper Presentation to improve the students technical skill and leadership quality. The Association was inaugurated for the academic year 2022 – 2023 by Mr.A.Tamilmani, Team Leader, Centizen Pvt. Ltd. by the month of September, 2022. The Association was inaugurated for the academic year 2023 – 2024 by Mr.S.Selva Arumugam, Senior Program Manager, Garrett Advancing Motion by the month of October, 2023.
